The Honda Civic Tour

The Honda Civic Tour was ace. Sorted and safe, mate. Traveled to SJ with some black people I know. One is very light so he’s non-threatening. Touched ground and headed to the HP Pavilion. I have never seen or experienced hate or judgment but I guess I had to encounter it sooner or later.

Booooo..
Justin Beiber was standing next to Alex, she was ~starstruck. Kadawata, a band from Sweden, aka Sav from Degrassi, opened and they were good. Proper set with good vocals. Big ups Sav. New Found Glory was up and with them I led the tribe to the front: It was do or die time. ontherealbro. That set was mental. Took me back to Jr. High. Proper memories.

After them Tegan and Sara were next and my gayness came out and Justin Beiber popped up in front of me with gauges. 3rd row center and oh the happiness. Tegan and Sara rocked it and even more. They expressed how glad they were that they were turning 30 in two days (today) and thus becoming cougars. Adorableness. Plus Tegan calling “Sara aka Justin Beiber”. LOL. They seriously lived up to their awesomely whitty banter they always do at shows. Plus I got a dance lesson from the Quin Twins; The Canadian Shuffle and got intimate with Sara.

(Dear Tegan, Stick your hands inside of my pockets Keep them warm while I’m still here)
Paramore was next and FIT was the set. 3rd row center and bomb, bomb, bomb. Opened with Ignorance and Hayley and Josh did a little acoustic country song, strange but okay whatever. A lil acoustic set in the middle of the set and that was intimate and sweet. This year must be my cursed year because of all the shit that has happened to me at shows and well, this show was no exception. I left to look for Alex because I thought she had left since she was no longer near me and Malcolm and as I walked out I got a rush of wind or something and had to get out, got some water from the paramedic and fml. Got back in but didn’t attempt to get to the front again because it was close to the end. But the end was mint and proper. Overall, mint ass night and I got to see New Found Glory and Tegan and Sara for the first time and Paramore for the fourth.

Post show drive and search for In-N-Out. Destination Fairfield and fuck yeah! Number 2 and pink lemonade. California ftw.

I’m, sorry to the people
I’m, sorry to the people

That need a
an-eye-lift
a-cheek-lift
a-speech-lift
an-eye-lift
a-cheek-lift
a-speech-lift

I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry [I(ah)]
I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry [I(ah)]

I’ve seen you all yearn for a different life
A new body that hides your lies
But what you really lack, is a sense of pride (a sense of pride)
And, with that, I realised, I’m fine in my own skin
I’m fine in my own skin (in my own skin)
I found pride in my own skin (in my own skin)

You should try it
try it, try it (oh yeah)
You might like it
like it, like it (yeah)

I’m sorry to those that believe I’m sick
Delusional and still persists
unlike you, I don’t need a
a-mind-lift
a-soul-lift
I(ah)
a-mind-lift
a-soul-lift
I(ah)

I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry [I(ah)]
I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry [I(ah)]

I’m, sorry to the people
I’m, sorry to the people

I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry [I(ah)]
I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry [I(ah)]

But most of all I’m sorry to those who lack a dream
Look at what came in the mail yesterday and am now wearing

American Carnage Tour

So my friend Will had an extra ticket to the Slayer American Carnage Tour, that included Megadeth. He asked me if I wanted to go since he had nobody that was interested. I was like, sure, why not. I love shows and this was a free ticket. Not really my genre or scene but it’s an experience and I’m all up for that. It was cool, I pointed out to Will that Megadeth’s backdrop resembled Harry Potter’s film posters. I ruined Megadeth’s backdrop for him; It was fun. This was Will’s second ever concert and first ever mosh pit. He was excited and I was/am glad to pop his pit cherry. We walked in there and he wanted me to lead him to the front since I’m tiny and he’s a huge 6 foot lad. We got to the circle pit and I participated in my first ever circle pit and tripped and fell flat on my ass/side/face. Basically I was on the ground. I didn’t attempt to participate in the circle pit, especially in a Metal show but as I ran for the front, my awkward self some hoe fell into it. A dude picked me up and I stayed on the outer lining of the pit. I saw Will running and being mental; it was ace. We left the pit and sat in the seats then went in later for Slayer. I led him in cause he wanted to go in closer and we did then all of a sudden I was in the middle of one small pit and the regular, huge-ass pit and as I was being shuffled and jumped around, this

was vivid in my mind and I started laughing like a mental person. It depicts the exact scenario I was partaking in: I MEAN EXACTLY. The show was pretty cool and the double-bass solo on the last song was brilliant. We hit up Hooters and McDonald’s and called it a night.
There is a bouncy house next door. Oh the thoughts, the pajamas, the memories… Naomily, where you be?
